白藜芦醇作为天然植物药物,可将癌细胞阻滞在细胞周期的某个阶段,同时逆转结肠癌细胞的沃伯格效应,通过不同的信号途径抑制癌细胞及肿瘤干细胞增殖,促进细胞凋亡。并且可通过抗炎、抗氧化和抗血管生成等作用起到防癌、抑癌的作用。白藜芦醇可增加结肠癌细胞对化疗药物的敏感性、逆转耐药性,显示出显著的抗肿瘤特性以及巨大的抗癌潜力。作为一种新型的防治结直肠癌药物具有广阔的应用前景,但由于白藜芦醇生物利用率低,目前尚未有能真正用于临床治疗的药品,更多是作为保健用品而被消费,因此需要更大规模的研究使白藜芦醇的抗肿瘤效果得以应用至临床治疗中去。
